Eye witnesses said upon noticing the incident, they tried to tackle the blaze but failed. The Fire service department was called immediately.
Since the house was made from flammable materials, the fire rapidly spread to two other nearby houses.
After the fire alarm was raised, fire engines along with fire crews were mobilized to extinguish the inferno. It took two hours for them to bring the blaze under control.
The fire left one dead and completely destroyed three houses as well as a lot of belongings inside.
An investigation into the main cause of the incident is ongoing.
