Fire engulfs wooden workshops in Hanoi

The blaze completely destroyed two workshops and a house nearby. According to a local witness, three people who were inside the workshop at the time managed to escape. Hundreds of curious local residents stopped at the road to observe the incident.

Eight fire engines and dozens of fire fighters were mobilized to the scene to extinguish the fire after the alarm was raised. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. No casualties were reported from the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
