Hanoi streets face gridlock as Tet approaches

VOV.VN -In the run-up to the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet), heavy traffic congestion is affecting many streets in the capital city of Hanoi as people rush to prepare.

    As Tet draws near, motorbikes and cars are creating logjams on numerous Hanoi streets, resulting in heavy traffic jams. 


Hoang Minh Giam and Tran Duy Hung streets are overloaded with vehicles.

    Traffic is congested on Tay Son and Nguyen Chi Thanh streets and along Hanoi’s third ring road.

Traffic police work hard to alleviate the massive backlog of cars

   On the morning of February 5, people were caught in a major jam on many streets around the capital city.

    An influx of residents flock to the streets, bringing heavy traffic congestion.

     Traffic jams at the tunnel under the junction of Big C Supermarket -Tran Duy Hung Street.




 The overpasses are teeming with vehicles.
