Hanoi to welcome return of pedestrian streets on September 18

VOV.VN - The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee has announced that pedestrian streets in the area around Hoan Kiem lake are set reopen on September 18.

After being closed to the public for several weeks, Hoan Kiem district’s administration has announced that September 18 will see the reopening of the capital’s famous walking streets.

In line with these measures, walking streets around Hoan Kiem lake, in addition to adjacent areas such as Hang Dao and Hang Gai streets, Dong Xuan night market, and a further six streets throughout the Old Quarter, will open to the public from 7 p.m. on September 18.

Local people will be required to wear face masks and maintain a safe distance when possible during their visit to the area on the weekend.
