The event offered an opportunity to advertise products, seek partners, and expand markets in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. It also helped local businesses advertise their products, strengthen international trade cooperation and develop trademarks with international counterparts.

375 pavilions displayed pharmaceutical products and medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment from many famous companies in the world.  

A highlight of the event was the introduction into the national trade promotion programme under which Vietnamese businesses will receive financial support of 50 percent in the exhibition.
