HCM City reports eight more local Zika infections
VOV.VN - Health officials on November 18 reported eight more local Zika infections, raising the total to 46 Ho Chi Minh City residents who have acquired the disease from mosquitoes in the country this year.
The Centre warned residents and pregnant women to take precautions to prevent contracting Zika by avoiding exposure to mosquitos and keeping their home and workplace environments clean and sanitary.
Zika testing will also be available for residents who display symptoms of the infection such as high fever, erythema, conjunctivitis, or myalgia in roughly 30 hospitals and medical centres throughout the City.
