Int’l Energy Expo opens in Hanoi

(VOV) - Vietnam is now experiencing strong economic growth, but the increasing rate of development also brings higher energy usage and cost and is the primary reason the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has organized Entech Hanoi 2015.

The 2015 event kicked off on May 20 at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre with the participation of more than 150 entities from around the globe featuring the latest 21st century energy sources and systems along with cutting edge machinery, equipment and renewable energy technology.

The latest wind & solar power projects are among the many systems being featured along with thermal, hydro-power, bio-mass and other exciting green technology.

More than 800 Vietnamese and international entities from countries such as the Czech Republic, Sweden, the UK, Japan and Taiwan  showcased thousands of high quality products in more than 1,200 pavilions on opening day.

At the opening, green products and technology awards were presented to Vietnamese enterprises in recognition of their innovative products in the field of energy saving and environmental protection.

The first prize went to ESS Vietnam Ltd Company while the second prize was awarded to Duc Minh Ltd Company, one of the leading manufacturers of agriculture related products.
