Malaysia detains 10 Vietnamese fishermen
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said Malaysia detained 10 Vietnamese fishermen on charges of illegally fishing in waters off Sarawak state.
The MMEA also seized one fishing vessel and 200 kilogrammes of fish.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia is verifying the case.
Last month, the MMEA also announced the seizure of two Vietnamese fishing vessels and 21 fishermen in Sarawak waters.
