Math team carries off 31 medals at IMSO 2015
(VOV) - Vietnam won 31 medals, including five gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze medals at the 12nd International Mathematics and Science Olympiad for Primary School (IOMS) held in Thailand from November 1-7.
The 32-member team is from Star Hanoi Primary School, Giang Vo Junior High School and Doan Thi Diem Primary School.
This is the first time Star Primary School pupils have attended such event with 11 out of 12 bring home nine silver and 2 bronze medals.
The 12nd IOMS hosted by the Thai Ministry of Education, attracted contestants from 20 Asian countries.
