Nearly 1,600 officers and soldiers receive COVID-19 vaccine in Mekong Delta
VOV.VN - Roughly 1,600 officers, soldiers, and defence staff from various armed force units were given their first jab of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on April 13, with the recipients based in the Tien river region and border guards in An Giang, Dong Thap, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, and Tra Vinh provinces.
The vaccination process ensures that recipients are safe from the deadly impact of COVID-19, with most vaccinated people seeing no unusual symptoms. The latest officers and soldiers who have been jabbed are forces in charge of COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. Indeed, the majority work at border gates and border crossings and have been placed among the prioritised groups for the vaccination.
In order to carry out the vaccination process in a competent manner, Military Hospital 120 has organised three mobile vaccination teams with six staff each who are trained professionals.
As part of the process, all vaccinated individuals are required to undergo a pre-vaccination screening check-up, along with post-vaccination health monitoring, and be granted a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination.
