Thais nationwide have donated their money and essential items to help flood victims in the South of Thailand as many of them are still battered by the prolonged flooding.

In Yala province, the 41st Ranger Regiment Task Force and a mobile army medical unit as well as other relevant agencies provided medical care, free haircuts, and vehicle and electrical appliance maintenance to the residents of Raman district.

In Trang, the Ibnuauf Islamic Cooperative Limited has been accepting donations and delivering them to the victims in inundated provinces of the South. The cooperative also set up donation stations in five locations to accommodate the donors.

In Prachinburi, the 12th Military Circle and Prachinburi Provincial Police have been accepting donations for people affected by the floods.

A total of 100,000 baht has already been given to the two organizations for current and future assistance programs.

More than 300,000 baht and a large amount of survival items have also been donated to Chanthaburi provincial authorities for the flood victims in the southern region. The province has so far received a total of 1.7 million baht since it began accepting donations.

In Samut Sakhon, the Red Cross Society and local residents donated bottles of drinking water and plastic doors for people whose homes were damaged by the floods.
