VOV.VN - A heavy downpour in the morning of July 21 caused traffic chaos for Hanoi locals as many streets in Ha Dong, Hoang Mai and Dong Da Districts were flooded.

Hanoi received a heavy downpour on the morning of July 21.
The rain lasted from the night of July 20 until the morning of July 21.
Many districts saw large rainfall amounts, including Hoang Mai (73.4 mm), Ba Dinh (76 mm), Dong Da (75 mm), Long Bien (76 mm) and Ha Dong (103 mm).
The flooding on Vinh Hung Street in Hoang Mai District turns the road into a river, causing difficulties for local people’s travel plans.
Buses create waves as they drive along Thai Ha Street.
A small alley becomes a torrent of water.
Locals use sandbags to prevent their houses from flooding water.
Stores are still open despite the heavy rain.
 
Hoai Duc District is inundated with water.
In some areas, the water level is higher than the wheels of motorcycles.

A car is stalled in the floods.
