Unexploded bomb discovered in Nghe An province

VOV.VN -An unexploded bomb has been found in Nghe An province. The bomb was discovered on the banks of the Khuon river, Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province on April 3.

A local man named Nguyen Canh Dong first spotted the bomb whilst he was taking a stroll along the bank of the river.

The bomb, which is 1.5m in length and 0.45m in diameter, is believed to be have been dropped sometime during conflict between 1968 to 1969 and has somehow remained unexploded to this day.

Do Luong province’s Military Command are scheduled to remove the bomb and take it to a safe place where it will be deactivated on April 5.
