Vietnam, ROK sign agreement to enhance worker safety
VOV.VN - Vietnam and the Republic of Korea today (May 5) signed a memorandum of understanding that will serve as a foundation for enhancing worker safety cooperation in both countries and invigorate engagement in the global economy.
The partnership between our two countries has advanced and transformed the economic and social development of Vietnam, said Doan Mau Diep, deputy minister of Molisa, at the signing ceremony.
We can achieve even more together, Diep continued, saying that Molisa is excited for the positive gains this new effort will deliver.
The agreement outlines the agencies intent to work together on policy, advocacy, and business promotion efforts to improve worker safety. By cooperating more closely, the two agencies hope to strengthen the growing trade and investment relationship between the countries.
In addition, he said, the signing of the agreement signifies a mutual interest in creating a permanent dialogue among not only the governments of the two countries but also with the business leaders to provide insight to grow and compete in the global economy and strengthen our partnership for common growth.
