6 players added to national squad for upcoming 2019 Asian Cup
VOV.VN - Park Hang Seo, the Korean head coach of the Vietnamese men’s national football team, has added 6 additional players to Vietnam’s squad in preparation for the upcoming 2019 Asian Cup.

They are Tran Minh Vuong, Dinh Thanh Binh, Phan Thanh Hau, Nguyen Thanh Chung, Huynh Tan Sinh, and Ngo Tung Quoc.
Apart from Minh Vuong, the five other players are currently competing at the ongoing 2018 International U21 Football Tournament.
In the 2019 Asian Cup, Vietnam have been drawn in group D alongside Iran, Iraq, and Yemen.
As scheduled, the Vietnamese national team will play Iraq on January 8, Iran on January 12, and Yemen on January 16.
After winning the AFF Cup trophy, the Vietnam’s national football team will have a 4-day break. They will gather back in Hanoi on December 20 to prepare for the 2019 Asian Cup, which will take place between January 5 to February 2 in the UAE.
