Golden Ball Awards underway in Vietnam

VOV.VN - The organising board of the Vietnamese Golden Ball Awards 2018 held a press conference on September 11 to announce the duration of the football and futsal awards ceremony and the prizes for each category.

Accordingly, this year, the Golden Ball Awards will consist of a number of prizes, including Golden, Silver and Bronze Ball Awards for men and women, Golden, Silver, and Bronze Futsal Awards for men, Best Foreign Football Player Awards, Best Male Young Footballer Awards, Best Female Young Footballer Awards, and Best Favourite Player as voted for by fans.

The jury of the Vietnam Golden Ball Awards will include football experts, coaches and captains of V-League and futsal clubs, and prestigious journalists.

The winners of each category will be revealed in late 2018.

The Vietnam Golden Ball Awards has been organised annually since 1995 by Saigon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) Newspaper, receiving huge attention from football players and passionate fans.
