Outgoing US Ambassador Ted Osius joins Coupe De Hue 2018

VOV.VN - Outgoing US Ambassador Ted Osius put his cycling shoes on to take part in the Coupe De Hue 2018 cycling event in Hue City on August 26.

The 2018 Coupe De Hue 2018 is the first ever edition of the event, attracting 500 male and female cyclists from 29 domestic and foreign teams.
Outgoing US Ambassador Ted Osius, Chairman of Thua Thien-Hue provincial People’s Committee, Phan Ngoc Tho, and vice chair Nguyen Dung join the event.

They begin their journey under heavy rain, all of them are determined to complete the 138km route.
Coupe De Hue 2018 is an international sporting event with the aim of increasing people’s involvement in sports, especially cycling.

After travelling over Thanh Toan Bridge, the cyclists take a 15 minute rest before tackling the 40km to Thuan An Beach.
