Top tennis player in second round of Singapore F2
Vietnam’s top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam qualified for the second round of the Singapore F2 Men’s Futures tennis tournament on May 31.

Nam, world No 601, also bested Katayama in the Japan F3 Men’s Futures two months ago.
In the next round, Nam will meet Francis Casey Alcantara of the Philippines, world No 844.
Earlier, the No 3 seed pair Nam and Yu Cheng-yu of Chinese Taipei were defeated 6-2, 4-6, 8-10 by Sherwin Foo and Roy Hobbs of Singapore in the first-round of the doubles.
