Vietnam to attend Asian Continental Chess Championships 2015
(VOV) -Vietnamese chess players will arrive in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Asian Continental Chess Championships 2015 (Open and Women’s) which is scheduled to take place from August 2-13.
The Vietnamese team include Le Quang Liem, Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son, Nguyen Huynh Minh Huy, Nguyen DucHoa, Nguyen Thi Mai Hung, Pham Le Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Thanh An, Le KieuThien Kim, and coach Lam Minh Chau.
They will compete for standard, rapid and blitz chess event.
The top five from the 2015 Asian (Open) Championship will qualify for the 2015 World Cup in Bacu, Azerbaijan from September 10-October 4.
