Vietnamese national squad to train in RoK ahead of AFF Cup
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s national squad, led by head coach Park Hang-seo, have arranged to play three friendly matches in the Republic of Korea (RoK) ahead of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Cup 2018.
Tran Quoc Tuan, vice chairman of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said he had received an e-mail from the Korea Football League agreeing to support the Vietnamese national team in their preparations.
According to the schedule, Vietnam’s national squad will take part in a training course at the Paju National Football Centre from October 17-28. The team have arranged to play three friendly matches there.
The final round of the AFF Cup 2018 is set to get underway from November 8 to December 15. Vietnam are in Group A with Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.
Group B consists of Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and the winner of a play-off match between Timor Leste and Brunei.
