Colourful flag raising ceremony kickstarts SE Games 2017

VOV.VN - The colourful flags of the 11 Southeast Asian countries participating in SEA Games 29 were raised Wednesday, August 16, at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Malaysia to symbolise the biennial meet. 

Hoang Quoc Vinh, general director of the Division of International Cooperation, (left) attends the ceremony.

Tran Anh Tu, head of the Vietnam Futsal Team, (centre) also attends the flag raising.

All told some 350 reps of the competing countries – Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines and host Malaysia attend the event.
