Epicor Software Corporation on January 11 signed an agreement with the HCM City Open University to provide the latest enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for application in training and research to enable students to get more practical experience.

Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth. It provides flexible, industry-specific software designed around the needs of manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industry customers.

Sabby Gill, Executive Vice President International of Epicor Software Corporation, said having access to a modern ERP system that is in use in Vietnamese manufacturing companies today will give students a competitive edge when the graduate.

“Equipping these students with the relevant experience and skills will help organisations adapt and empower their employees to boost collaboration and innovation. It means they will be ready to contribute to their employers’ business operation much faster and companies will benefit from the innovation and ideas that new employees and the younger generation can bring,” Gill said.
