Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh received International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano in Hanoi on October 3 on the first stop of his visit to Asian nations.
At the reception, the IAEA General Director said he is very impressed by the rapid changes in Vietnam and praised the country’s achievements and cooperation with the IAEA in recent times, adding that Vietnam is considered an important partner of the agency.
Mr Amano was received earlier by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh.
