Vietnamese women’s team enjoy 4-0 win over Japanese side

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national women’s football team thumped Biwaco Seikei FC of Japan’s 4-0 in a friendly match played on April 19, with the game being a perfect test for coach Mai Duc Chung and his players ahead of SEA Games 32.

From the opening minutes the Vietnamese women’s team dominated the match and implemented their attacking tactics.

Striker Thanh Nha scored the opener and the second goal, before Tuyet Dung scored the third goal via a penalty. The fourth goal was then scored by My Anh from a corner.

Head coach Chung shared that some young Vietnamese players must gain more experiences as they still made several mistakes and missed some opportunities in the friendly against the weaker Japanese team.

He also hailed the Japanese team’s passing skills.

After competing at SEA Games 32, the Vietnamese national women’s football team are scheduled to play friendlies against both Germany and New Zealand during a training camp held in Europe ahead of the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
