The Vietnamese children’s chorus will perform for the first time in three western states of the US, including California, from July 7-20, according to the Ministry of Culture and Information.
The art troupe will perform Vietnamese popular folksongs, such as “Trong Com”, “Hoa Thom Buom Luon”, “Di Cay”, “Nguoi oi nguoi o dung ve” and “Bac kim thang” in harmony with traditional musical instruments.
During the tour, the Vietnamese children’s chorus will join a large performance in Salt Lake city.
The troupe will include 50 members led by bandmaster Pham Hong Hai, deputy director of the Viet Nam Music and Dance Theatre.
