Newly accredited ambassador takes up mission in Greece
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Le Hong Truong on September 7 presented his credentials to President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
Ambassador Truong conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other senior Vietnamese leaders to the Greek President.
He expressed his great honor to be appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Greece and vowed to work hard to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation for mutual benefit between the two countries.
President Sakellaropoulou congratulated Truong on his appointment and pledged to support the Ambassador as well as the Embassy of Vietnam in successfully carrying out their tasks, helping to further develop the two countries’ relations.
She expressed her admiration for Vietnam’s development achievements and hoped to soon visit Vietnam when the COVID-19 pandemic is brought under control in the two countries.
