Vietnam - Korea Cultural Festival launched in Da Nang

VOV.VN - A Vietnam - Korea cultural festival kicked off in the central city of Da Nang on September 1 evening as part of activities to mark 30 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.

On display at 40 booths at the four-day festival are consumer goods, traditional dishes, cultural and educational products introduced by Vietnamese and RoK organisations and businesses.

Various art programmes featuring distinctive cultures of both Vietnam and the RoK such as Vietnamese Tuong (traditional drama), traditional drum beating, choir singing, modern dancea talent contest, Taekwondo martial art performance, and Hanbok costume wearing will be staged at Dragon Bridge Park on the Han River bank.

The programme “Korea Music Night” at Trung Vuong Theater on September 4 evening will attract traditional and modern dance groups from the RoK such as B Boys and Queens.

After mỏe than two years impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, such activities will contribute to expanding cultural exchanges and cooperation,  between Vietnam and the Republiv of Korea, said Huynh Duc Truong, director ò the Da Nang municipal Department ò External Relations.
