VIB wins two international awards for its credit cards

VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB) has been awarded both the Best New Card Offering - VIB Online Plus 2in1 and the Most Innovative New Credit Card Service - Vietnam 2021 by the International Finance magazine.

The magazine regards VIB as one of the most prominent units which has enjoyed strong development in the Vietnamese credit card segment.

It also highly appreciates VIB's efforts in making the country one the first locations in Southeast Asia to issue a card line that is capable of integrating two distinct credit and debit cards.

Simultaneously, VIB has also applied AI and Big Data technologies in an effort to digitise 100% of the approval limits and card issuance process for all credit card lines.

Moreover, VIB's constant innovations serve to prove the bank's steadfastness in its commitment towards building a cashless payment system in the country.

Tuong Nguyen, head of Card strategy & operation Center at VIB, says the awards acknowledge International Finance’s recognition of VIB's continuous innovation and creativity efforts over the past time.

She also reveals that in September, both VIB and Visa will co-operate to launch a new card line that will feature a range of outstanding benefits for small families.
