Four dies, five injured as truck overturned in central Vietnam

VOV.VN - At least four people have died and five others have been injured after a truck flipped over and became wedged against the foot of a cliff in the south central province of Phu Yen on April 3.

The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on DT 643 road in Phu Long village of An My commune in Tuy An district. At the time, a truck, carrying water melons and nine people on board, suddenly flipped upside down onto the foot of cliff when travelling downhill.

According to the initial information, three people died in the cabin, and six people suffered severe injuries. Among the six injured taken to hospital for emergency treatment, one person passed away on the way to the hospital.

Several hours later, rescu forces retrieved the bodies of the three victims out of the cabin.
