Da Nang students win high prizes at Int’l Robothon Competition 2016

VOV.VN - Two students from Tran Cao Van and Le Quy Don schools in Danang central city have clinched two first prizes at the International Robothon Competition 2016 held in Malaysia recently. 

Second and third prizes belonged to students from Hoa Lu and  Le Quy Don schools in Da Nang, DinhTien Hoang school in Ho Chi Minh City and Nguyen Tat Thanh school in Hanoi.

During the event, contestants had to install and program robots to receive, analyze and summarize data as well as extracting structured information.

Under the theme ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT), this year’s event attracted the participation of 53 local teams, which have won high prizes at national Robothon contests.

The annual event is organized alternately in South East Asian nations and designed for primary and high school students.  It is a useful playground for students to ignite their passion for science and technology.
