Vietnam Olympian falls short of finals in shooting competition

VOV.VN -Olympian sharpshooter Hoang Xuan Vinh fell just short of making it through to the final round of the 50m Pistol at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup.

Xuan Vinh earned a total of 550 points at the competition ongoing in New Delhi, India, enough for a ninth-place finish but not good enough to qualify for the finals.

Meanwhile, teammate Tran Quoc Cuong accumulated 527 points securing only a thirty-third-place finish.
