Vietnamese-French Stephane Tran Ngoc performs in HCM City

VOV.VN - On May 3, the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera announced that the inimitable violinist Stephane Tran Ngoc will return home to deliver a performance at a music program to be held in HCM City on May 9.

Vietnamese-French violinist, Stephane Tran Ngoc, was born in Paris, France and has performed in more than 30 nations around the world. Playing solo violin and performing with several renowned bands in Europe, he has won several prestigious awards.

Ngoc graduated in violin and chamber music at the Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music when he was 15 years old. He later received a master’s degree at Brooklyn College’s Conservatory of Music and a Doctorate in Musical Art from The Juilliard School in the US.

He has worked as a violin teacher at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon for several years.

During the concert in Vietnam, Stephane Tran Ngoc will entertain music lovers with Shostakovich’s violin concerto, which he will play on his exquisite violin, produced by the world’s famous handicraftsman Francesco Gobetti. In addition, he will perform Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, which is sure to be a treat for audiences in HCM City.

Last year, Stephane Tran Ngoc visited HCM City in July, performing the masterpieces of J.S.Bach and Paganini.
