Vietnam student claims top prize at Robot Youth maker competition

VOV.VN - Ngo Dinh Gia Bao, an 11th grader at Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City High School for the Gifted, has become the champion of the Robot Youth maker – MyOr competition recently held in Singapore.

Surpassing dozens of contestants over many rounds, Bao took the championship title, receiving a cash prize of US$2,000 in the process.

Youth Maker 2022 is an event jointly held by Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University and GaraSTEM which provides an ecosystem of STEAM education for learners and teachers throughout Vietnam.

The competition got underway on October 30 attracting the participation of 40 students aged 11 - 18 from Malaysia, Vietnam, and host Singapore.
