Presenting Vallet scholarships to students in central provinces
The Scientific and Educational Organisation, Rencontres Du Vietnam, presented 397 Vallet scholarships to outstanding students and pupils in Dong Hoi City on September 3.
Seventy-five scholarships worth VND8 million each were for students of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh universities and Quang Tri College and the remaining worth VND5 million each, for secondary pupils in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces and children at SOS village in Dong Hoi City.
Since 2001, Professor Odon Vallet has granted more than 18,000 scholarships worth more than VND112 billion on total to Vietnamese students and pupils through Rencontres Du Vietnam.
Over the past 12 years, French scientist, Professor Odon Vallet has spent all his saving money on scholarships for French and Vietnamese students.
