President welcomes Lao legislator
President Truong Tan Sang received Vice Chairman of the Lao National Assembly Somphan Phengkhammy in Hanoi on March 13.
Sang highlighted the results of effective cooperation between the two legislatures over the years especially during the celebration of 2012 as the Special Solidarity and Friendship Year.
Phengkhammy informed Sang of his talks with National Assembly Vice-Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to share experience with Vietnam in building a legal documentation system.
The Lao legislator expressed his hope that Vietnam will closely cooperate with Laos in strengthening their special friendship and comprehensive cooperation.
