Vietnam, Australia promote press cooperation
(VOV) - A contingent from the Ministry of Information and Communications led by Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan visited Australia from July 25-31 to share experience in management of press activities and discuss cooperation opportunities.
During meetings with the Department of Communications, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the Canberra Times and TELSTRA, the two sides exchanged experiences in dissemination, press management, staff training, and online newspaper development.
Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan said the visit has reaped positive results as Vietnam is currently building the Press Law and planning its implementation.
Australia has had considerable experience in the field, especially in the management of social media networks and has implemented a number of laws to better manage them and have them remove improper content, Tuan said
