The signing was witnessed by President of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association Dao Trong Thi, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son and VUFO representatives currently visiting Russia.

Speaking at the event, VUFO President Vu Xuan Hong reviewed major milestones in Vietnam’s external relations, including people-to-people diplomacy.

Tran Dang Chung, President of the VBA in Russia, said that the Association’s members hope to contribute more to people-to-people diplomacy to promote Vietnam’s image in Russia.

During their stay in Russia, the VUFO delegation laid a floral wreath at the Ho Chi Minh statue in Moscow and visited the Lenin Mausoleum on the occasion of his 142^nd birthday (April 22).
