1,003-strong Vietnamese sport delegation to attend SEA Games 32

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on April 17 the composition of the Vietnamese sport delegation to the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 32) in Cambodia, featuring a total of 1,003 members including athletes, coaches, doctors, and experts.

Dang Ha Viet, general director of the Vietnamese Sports Administration, assumed the role of leading the delegation to the regional sporting event.

The national track-and-field team are sending the most athletes to the regional competition with 55 members. Judo, taekwondo, and wushu will be present at the regional games with 20, 21, and 14 athletes, respectively.

The Vietnamese U22 men's football and women's football teams have not yet finalised the official list to partake in SEA Games 32.

SEA Games 32 will be held in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, and Kep in Cambodia from May 5 to 17.

A send-off ceremony for Vietnamese athletes will be held on April 19 at the National Sports Training Center. 

The Vietnamese sport delegation aims to make the top three of the overall medal tally and win around 120 gold medals in the process.
