A book on the Vietnam-Russia relations has been published in both Vietnamese and Russian, according to the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association and the National Politics Publisher at a press briefing in Hanoi on March 22.

Entitled "Lien Xo - Mot tu khong bao gio quen" (Soviet Union - an unforgettable word), the book provides a detailed account of the friendship between the former Soviet Union-Russia and Vietnam over the past decades.

The book begins with the memoirs of the days in Russia by well-known Vietnamese people, including Astronaut Pham Tuan; former Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Van Nganh; and former President of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association Dang Huu.

Its second part introduces memoirs of former Russian ambassadors to Vietnam and Russian experts who had been in Vietnam to assist in building the Hoa Binh hydro-electric and Pha Lai thermal power plants.

The final section features pictures on the two countries’ relationship.
