Vietnam, Cambodia continue to promote all-around cooperation

At the meeting, the two sides hailed the long-standing bilateral relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam, which is constantly developing at all levels in the spirit of "good neighbors and traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability".

Emphasizing the importance of strengthening extensive cooperation in areas of mutual concern, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang and Minister Sok Chenda Sophea agreed to continue maintaining the exchange of delegations on all channels in order to exchange information and share experience, continue to promote existing cooperation mechanisms, while simultaneously working together to find new effective and practical cooperation mechanisms for both sides.

Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang and Minister Sok Chenda Sophea also consented to continue promoting the tradition of mutual consultation on international and regional issues of shared concern and benefits to both countries.

On this occasion, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang pledged to continue to further boost the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia. He conveyed the congratulations of Vietnamese leaders to Mr. Sok Chenda Sophea on being appointed to a new position - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia.

For his part, Deputy PM and Minister Sok Chenda Sophea highly appreciated the meeting with Ambassador Nguyen Huy Tang, saying this was the first meeting with the Ambassador of a neighboring country since he was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
