The Japanese Government will provide US$57,000 in education equipment to the Hanoi Lawyers University.

Under a deal signed on February 29, the project will give students at the Hanoi Lawyers University’s Japanese Law Studies Centre internet access to lectures on Japanese law by professors from Japan’s Nagoya University.

Japanese Ambassador Daisuke Masunaga said he expected the project will not only enable the Vietnamese university to improve the quality of its distance education but also contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries through a new generation of lawyers more informed about each other’s legal system.
