Local golfer Minh wins Taiwan Amateur tournament
VOV.VN - Vietnamese golfer Nguyen Anh Minh has become the champion of the Taiwan Amateur Golf Championship 2024 which was held at the Kaohsiung Golf & Country Club in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan (China).
In the last round of the tournament played on April 12, Minh successfully beat Cheng-Wei Hsieh of the host country to win the title.
The victory marks huge progress from Minh as he only finished fifth at the tournament last year. The result will also help the Vietnamese golfer to rank in a higher position in terms of the upcoming world rankings.
In the female category, Vietnamese golfer Le Chuc An also recorded good results in the competition, raising from No.23 to No.14.
