Foreign drug trafficker arrested in HCM city

VOV.VN -A foreign man has been arrested by police in Ho Chi Minh city for illegally transporting a large quantity of drugs in an operation co-ordinated alongside other units.

Foreign drug trafficker is arrested in HCM city
On March 27, police forces noticed a suspicious pickup truck when on duty in the area around An Suong intersection, Hoc Mon district.

Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered a large quantity of drugs and proceeded to arrest a foreign man.

The city’s police force noted that on March 28 they will be searching a number of additional locations suspected of being used to store drugs.

A further investigation into the case us underway.
