Vietnam goes ahead with phygital tournaments in the future

This statement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ spokesperson Pham Thu at the Ministry's routine press briefing held on February 29 in Hanoi in response to reporters’ queries regarding the victory of the Vietnam Basketball Team on February 27, in the final match of the digital physical basketball at the 2024 Olympics of the Future (Game of Future) taking place in Kazan in Russian, and the possibility of Vietnam sending more teams to engage in the future.
“We believe that from this victory as well as from the experience of participating in the competition, Vietnam will continue to join other tournaments, especially those that demonstrate the trend of combining e-sports and traditional sports in the future,” Hang said.
