E-commerce platform of high-quality Vietnamese goods make debut
VOV.VN - An e-commerce platform showcasing high-quality local goods made its debut in Ho Chi Minh City on January 21 with the aim of helping businesses in the Vietnamese High Quality Goods Business Association seek co-operative opportunities online.
The e-commerce platform at https://hvnclc.chophienonline.vn represents an ideal venue in which production and business units can boost trade promotion activities whilst simultaneously developing their brands, according to experts.
Huynh Quang Hien, executive director of the Business Studies and Assistance Centre (BSA), said that each local firm will be given a booth on the e-trading floor, along with an account to share information regarding their products, and space for their own booth.
Furthermore, the e-commerce platform will serve to allow businesses to actively manage bills relating to receiving orders, printing consignments, packaging, and delivering, with the site anticipated to become a prestigious online shopping destination among consumers.
Truong Gia Bao, chairman of the DTS Digital Transformation Alliance, said the domestic e-commerce sector has been rapidly developing, with increasing numbers of firms participating in online sales channels via websites, social media, and other platforms.
Indeed, the e-trading floor will support businesses, especially traditional enterprises to devise relevant business strategies, develop online sales channels, and promote online brands.
To mark the launch of the new platform, the market for the Lunar New Year or Tet, will be held online for the first time, with the event scheduled to run from January 23 to February 5.
