Peabo Bryson to perform in Vietnam
(VOV) - American R&B and soul singer-songwriter Peabo Bryson will entrance audiences in two big Vietnamese cities this September.
He will perform in the Vietnam National Convention Centre in Hanoi on September 12 and at Hoa Binh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City on September 18.
Peabo Bryson is well-known for romantic ballads such as A Whole New World, Beauty and the Beast, and Tonight, I Celebrate My Love for You.
He won a Grammy Award in 1992 for his performance of the song Beauty and the Beast with Céline Dion and another in 1993 for A Whole New World (Aladdin's Theme) with Regina Belle.
He was invited to Vietnam by the organizing board of the In the Spotlight programme which aims to create an opportunity for Vietnamese singers and composers to meet and learn from international artists.
