The first prize, which is worth US$2,000, was awarded to Kai Xiang Goh, a student from the Singapore Management University.
The aim of the online competition is to find the top 100 students from across Southeast Asia who have the potential to go on and become the next generation of business leaders.
Competitors had to face two online exercises, which took more than 45 minutes in total. The overall score of the online exercises determined who made it into the ICAEW 100.
As well as an overall winner, prize money of US$200 was awarded to students who excelled across ICAEW’s six key areas of professional development, including adaptability, commercial acumen, communication, curious learner, integrity, and building relationships.
At this year’s event, the ICAEW 100 competition attracted the participation of over 2,800 students from across Southeast Asia with over 1,000 Vietnamese students registering to attend the event.
