President Sang welcomes Japanese delegation

President Sang praised Japanese enterprises for expanding their Vietnam-based investment projects, pledging renewed efforts to ensuring incentive policies remain flexible and infrastructure is improved in the interests of cultivating a stable, advantageous environment for foreign businesses.

Vietnam needs Japanese assistance in areas such as human resources training, advanced technology, and intensive agro-fishery processing, Sang said.

The Japanese delegation expressed delight at the opportunity to visit Vietnam once more, acknowledging the country’s impressive socio-economic development.

They hoped Vietnam’s economic orientation will favour growth and encourage expanding cooperation between the two nations’ business communities.

President Sang answered a series of questions about Japanese investment projects in Vietnam.and reiterated the Vietnamese Government’s interest in facilitating such investment over the long-term.
