Lan wins gold at Asian Athletics Championships 2019
VOV.VN - Runner Quach Thi Lan achieved a gold medal finish on April 22 at the 23rd Asian Athletics Championships 2019 that are currently underway in Doha, Qatar.

She came first in the women’s 400m hurdles recording a time of 56.10 seconds in the process. Her performance in Doha marks her best result so far this year.
Lan was followed to the podium by Jamal Aminat Yusuf and Saritaben Gayakwad who achieved times of 56.39 secs and 57.22 secs, respectively.
The 23rd Asian Athletics Championships 2019 is taking place in Doha, Qatar, from April 21- 24. The event drew competitors from 63 countries.
Vietnam sent a total of 12 athletes to take part in the four-day sporting event which is widely considered the most important date in the calendar for countries looking to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan.
