The event, co-organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Vietnam Women’s Union, and Vietnam Television (VTV), honours Vietnamese businesswomen who have contributed to the country’s economic development and international integration process. It provides a special opportunity for businesswomen to share experience and establish ties of cooperation.

The highlights of the event will include a photo exhibition, seminars, and exhibitions displaying products and services produced by Vietnamese businesswomen.

During the week, ceremonies will take place to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8) and the 1,970^th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, and to award the Golden Rose prize to the 100 most outstanding Vietnamese businesswomen of 2009. The award ceremony will be broadcast live on the VTV1 channel.
